Someone who has Pirates must review it here!

With all of the fun and excitement of WoW, I'm afraid that Pirates might get lost in the shuffle.
I'm looking to the GWJers to help me decide whether to pick this thing up at close to full price. I absolutely loved the original game (although I was about 12 at the time), but as stated in another thread, I've grown wary of Sid Meier based on some of his recent efforts.
Don't get lost in the WoW shuffle; Pirates must be reviewed!
I am not much of a reviewer but I can give my opinion of it when I get it. I will be giving a review based on never having played the original.
I just went to pick it up and EB and Gamestop and they don''t have it. WoW came in via UPS and Pirates! is coming in via Fed EX. Well, Fed EX doesn''t come until 1pm EST, damn!

I''ll be picking up the Pirates Limited Edition today but it''s going on the waiting list until I can carve out some time to fire it up.

I have the limited edition Pirates! in my hand! Got the last non-preorder shelf copy. Tonight is total gaming goodness.
