abusing those 2-mo. xbox live vouchers

I've got four of those free two-month cards, and even though I have already bought a twelve-month card, I don't see the reason to start using it if I can abuse this promotion until March.
I've already heard that I can't just enter another card into my current account, but has anyone tried dumping their old account and starting a new free one? I expect to have to pick a new tag, but I'm wondering if they'll notice my same name and credit card appearing on the account.
I'd hate to lose my friends lists and H2 ranking and then find out it won't work.
Anyone else try this yet?
If not, I'll let you all know how it works in a few weeks.
yeah i''ve been doing that. works fine. except you have to get a new tag all the time. I might have switched up credit cards too but don''t know if that''s necessary. anyway it can''t hurt to try. you can always reuse your old tag using a 12 month sub. code.
That''s the reason I''m only using one of my 2 month passes and subscribing to Live when it runs out, there''s no way I''m losing my Halo 2 stats because I''m a cheap bastard who can''t fork over a couple bucks
