I find it really funny to see the losers on there crying. I have no problem with someone being upset that their guy lost. I do have a problem with the left that thinks that Europe is more moral than us and that we owe them an apology for our election.

Being a sore losers doesn't help anything. I know that the Republicans would have gone into a tailspin but I don't think they would have put anything close to this.

When will the far left of the democratic party learn that the world doesn't need to ok us on everything we do?

I don''t htink that was polarizing. I made a specific reference to the far left of the party, not the left wing, but the far left wing. Unless you''re going to argue that people on the far left or far right hold views that are inherently polarizing.

Yeah, I thought the polarization matter was settled by this first sentence. I think this is poor form, and I''m a Republican (though not for long if this kind of crowing and purposeful avoidance of bipartisan efforts continues).

I''m sorry. If you feel so depressed that you have to say sorry to the world that your guy didn''t win, you''re being a sore loser. They are losers that need to get out more. If Kerry won, the country wouldn''t have gone that different of a direction than it is now.

Wait, Bush got 51%, Kerry got 48%. So, who did that other 1% vote for?

Not Bush right? So I think that ""Sorry from 49% of us"" makes sense.

Whats the big deal? Should they automatically put Bush on their buddy lists as soon as he won the election?
People have sore feeling about their candidate losing, at least they dont grab machine guns, instead channeling their feeling into a website.

btw - whats the meaning of ""boned""? There was that photo of ""two cats from Arizona"", one asking another: ""Are we boned?"" ""Yeah, we`re boned."" It seemed so funny to me even though i dont really understood the humor (if there`s any )

Yes, you did my apologies.

I agree that we have to ignore Soros and that leftist looney from MIT (I forget his name right now) who blame the US for all that is wrong in the world, but we also have to take responsibility for our own particularly bad actions in the past.

But the problem right now is that now that Mr. Ashcroft is gone Mr. Bush is again going to have to appease the religious right with something.. either an appointment to the Supreme Court, some kind of gay marriage ban amendment or classification of marriage, something obviously a gift to them for their turnout for the election. This unfortunately will polarize the left even more against Bush.

I''d do the gay marriage ban amdmt all day and take the PR hit for it. There''s no way it will pass, and it throws a bone to the holy rollers. Everybody wins, except that it causes a greater rift between segments of our society. Oh wait, I guess that means we lose. Damn.

Still, from a strategic standpoint, I think it would make sense.

Thats great stuff Jason!

I saw the website a few days ago, its really just a waste of space and bad form. I may agree or disagree with the elected official, but I never apologize for my fellow voters to outside groups, they made their choice, I made mine and I respect the system enough not to make excuses for it.

Maybe voting (assumption here), getting out the vote or working harder to change minds would serve them better as a grassroots concept than sitting around bemoaning their loss. A loss is only a setback if you sit there and complain. These folks victimized themselves as losers where as some democrats attempt to move forward.

So much energy and bandwidth wasted, I have to agree with Ulairi here, these people offered us a textbook definition of losers. Have some dignity and grace in this please.

Because the left needs to feel that they are morally superior to the people that voted for Bush. Bush recieved 9 million more votes this time and the best estimates of the christians that stayed home last time is 4 million.

Jeebas. What is the allotted time until the bandying about the election is over? Is it 3 weeks? 45 days?

It took the Republicans eight years to stop crying about Clinton, and some of them still do it. I think it will take the Democrats at least eight years to get over Bush.

How long until we move past this and deal with the world as we know it and stop worrying about what if''s or next time''s?

I''m sorry to say I can answer all three.

1. There is no allotted time, as we can see from the determined searching for a scapegoat voter block. This phase will end when that group is pinned, then the second phases begins, that is to discredit, question and marginalize those in the selected group.

2. It will not be ""moved past"" because to do so would accept that ""world as we know it"". To accept the situation without some random event, vote count or group to blame means the problem is internal or with your candidate. Just like the election of 2000, some folks toned down the ""Bush stole the election"" drivel, but only enough to the extent to keep it simmering as a rational to be hinted at or used as innuendo (remember ""Your vote will count"" quotes this year?) Part of the disappointment in this election is that a toll was not exacted to make the result of 2000 ""fair"".

3. How long until the democrats are done ""soul searching""?

Simple, they already are. The fact many are looking to outside parties to casually attribute Bush''s win to then making snickers and jibes about the group shows to some in the leadership and the circle of pundits that introspect was secondary to wreathing someone with blame. I''ve seen few ""Why did we loose?"" but plenty of ""Why does America hates democrats""

I thought the margin Bush won by would create a desire to say ""Hey, we lost too many voters and we need to fix this because we are doing something wrong"" Votes in these numbers don''t lie, some can feel they got cheated by ""right wing religious types"" or people with a weak minds all they like, it still doesn''t change the fact they didn''t run as good of a campaign, their candidate made some mistakes or their message had certain aspects that were found unappealing or failed to connect with certain voters. I''m not claiming to know which or what combination of these variables it was, but the evidence is more important to the party and the system than blaming voters which in the end, always backfires

Here''s an interesting add on cnn this morning on the article about Michael ""Slimeball"" Moore doing F 9/11 1/2

Quote:
""Moore told Daily Variety that he and Harvey Weinstein, the Miramax boss who produced the film, hope to have ""Fahrenheit 9/11 1/2"" ready in two to three years.

""Fifty-one percent of the American people lacked information (in this election) and we want to educate and enlighten them,"" Moore was quoted in Thursday''s edition of Variety. ""They weren''t told the truth. We''re communicators and it''s up to us to start doing it now.""

Kind of says it all from the ''far left'' - eh? Basically, I read...51% of America is ignorant because they don''t agree with him...

Talk about ignorant...again...i cannot emphasize enough... I have a triad of evil that I despise with every fiber of my being - 1) Jane Fonda 2) Osama Bin Laden 3) Mikey Moore
