Vampire on the 16th?[edit]!!
Sorry to break all of the Halo, WoW and EQ2 threads, and forgive me if this has already been discussed recently, but everywhere I look lately sites are showing Vampire: Bloodlines' release date as November 16th. Did I miss the gone gold annoucement? I know that a lot of companies guestimate release dates to get pre-orders in (I still remember laughing at Doom3 pre-order boxes on the shelves at Best Buy last December), but the same date seems to be coming up more and more now.
With everything that's coming out I almost think they should wait until December to avoid getting lost in the crowd. I've been pretty geeked for this one since it was announced, but there's no way I'll be able to find room in my shopping cart for that with the gi-normous Half Life 2 SE, WoW CE, and Halo 2 SE boxes. Probably should throw in the Halo 2 headset as well. And a new cushion for my chair. And possibly a catheter.
Ugh. Looks like it's tomato soup and cheese sandwhiches the rest of this month...

It has been done for awhile.. once HL2 is out it should come out. Was in Best Buy on Friday and saw pre-purchase boxes for this.
But you do have a good point it will get lost unless for the RPG fan which will be salivating over this. And I do not mean the MMORPG fan that will be all over WoW.

EDIT: I should probably add that I''m looking forward to it (the game of course, though I am not totally discounting polygonal boobies) and that I hope Troika manages to pull off a winner (they are long overdue for one, I think).

This is the one and only game going on my Santa List.
I''m already buying the Joint Ops expansion, which will be filed under Early Birthday Present, and I need a new PSU for my PC so I can push the old PSU back onto the old motherboard for conversion into a pseudo-TiVo, along with plenty of other hardware for that project. And I think I''ll paint the case and do other crazy stuff with it.
But just this game from Santa and the JO expansion for birthday and I''m already over my mental bandwidth for games. Hell, I just found Bastila in KotOR this weekend. I''m not even a Jedi yet.
