Sounds like they pulled off a successful launch. Good for them. I''d be lying if I wasn''t thinking of picking this one up. I told myself I''d wait a few months, atleast, but most likely wait until I burnt out on WoW. But now that it''s out I still find myself drawn to it. I''m such a sucker for MMORPGs.

There is a post on the boards that tells beta testers to uninstall the beta client and do a fresh install from the retail version.
You could always head over to the boards and see what the post has to say and see if worth taking a chance with it or not by using the beta version.

I''m pretty impressed with the launch so far. DVD install and sign up were a cinch--took about fifteen minutes total.
I think my DVD drive is like a 4x(?) and it still installed relatively quickly, just consider yourself lucky to not have to do the 9 CDs.
