I''ve decided not to play, at least initially. I''ll probably do the WoW thing for 3-5 months, and then maybe move over to EQ2 so that there will be an established base that can twink^H^H^H^H^Hgive me good advice.

Hmmm... I cant forsee playing this til at least 2-3 weeks after launch.
Im going to have to be completely bored with WoW in order to pick it up. Thats not going to happen despite my best efforts to make it happen. I am so overplaying WoW right now, but I dont care. And I dont care if I completely miss out on every other one of those games on the christmas buying list on the front page. My gaming desires are so filled, Im starting to forget what other titles I found interesting.

I''m going for Healer like I always do. I just can''t trust anyone else to heal me when I''m a fighter type. Probably Priest or Druid.
My group of friends will shoot for Mistmoore also unless it is ungodly crowded at time we get on.
We have:
Me - Paladin
Friend 1 - Templar
Friend 2 - Bard type
Friend 3 - Mage Type
Friend 4 - Fighter Type
Friend 5 is questionable.
Friends 1 & 4 have registered for this site so maybe they will chime in but this is our basic plan currently.
The wife and I will sign up for Mistmoore...not sure which game we are going to stick with though (wow or eq2).
Haven''t really decided on my charector, leaning towards a mage who I''ll develop into an enchanter. Might work on a ranger however.
I''ll shoot for Mistmoore. My main will be one of the pugilistic fighter types (Monk or Bruiser).

mistmoore was full today when i tried, im on najeena in case mistmoore is full for anyone.. we''ll be able to hop servers eventually.
Mistmoore was terrible last night - the server goes down constantly - and the character was unavailable several times tonight.
Haven''t seen any other GWJ either.. so I thinking we''d change to one of the newly started servers and try to use the game calendar for gathering?

Could not get into Mistmoore last night, (most servers were Full) but did manage to get into Permafrost and was stable with only 1 lag bubble the whole night.
I did not try it at all in Beta but now I would like to dabble in crafting, but my question is once you get off of newbie island, do the NPCs give you more tutorial type quest or is it all trial and error? If anyone has pointers or links to good beginer crafting guides I would be grateful.

Yeah unfortunately it seems we picked one of the worst servers to play on. I vote we go with one of the newer less populated servers.

starting on Nektulos a lil while back after seeing how crowded Mistmoore was. Initially was going to have a throwaway charector just to get used the game some. But my little ratonga scout has got me hooked. It''s a really fun charector to play, I''ve had tons to do and haven''t even left Freeport yet.
Yeah Mistmoore was bad so my group moved to Oasis.
Me and the wife are playing on Everfrost as all of the servers you guys have listed here were either full or heavy.

Damn. We''re all over the place, aren''t we? Just got Joedash to level 10 and brawler on Mistmoore. I''ve got Jodeash, a level 5ish fighter on Everfrost, as well.
