Closed beta testers cannot play on Stress Test servers and vice versa. Guess we''re smelly, or something.
We''re planning on a PvE server at release, right? While I would love to play on the PvP server, there''s just no way I have the time to be that hardcore.

Actually I think its the Closed beta testers that are smelly. After they''ve spent near-on full-time job hours playing, I''m sure both their chairs and bodies are beginning to emit that odorous vapor from the Sims. <squints at Gaald>

Guys, I hate to be a total dork, but let me just say that playing WoW is incredibly fun for and I am really looking forward to a few weeks of playing before retail. On top of that, we will have Half Life 2 in 2 weeks from today! I feel like a little school kid who is on his way home to play pong(yeah, I am a loser). The next month is going to be great.

Nope. When you start out you can select your region (I chose east coast) and then if you prefer a PVP server, I said no. It gave me test 4.

Test 4 *is* a PvP server... I got to the same server through their idiot choice menu, but when you look at the realm list, it clearly says ""PvP"" and not ""Normal"". I''m heading to Test 3, which has the lightest load of the Normal servers...
EDIT: I guess I should say, as best I can tell, it''s a PvP server. I have no idea how you would verify in game. Anyhoo, Test 3 for me until someone figures out which indicator Blizzard goofed on.
Are you sure? Because I chose a non-PVP preference and it gave me test 4. Something is fishy then.
If anyone has a chance to test it let us know if the menu is backwards or something.
Also, how do you go to test 3 when you don''t get a choice?

Look for the Realm list... I don''t recall how I got there, but it''s off that stupid choice menu. I did the same thing as you ""East Coast"" ""Normal play"" and got 4, but I just looked at the Realm List and it says PvP. *shrug*
I''m on as Wounder, but afk for a bit on Test 3. Have to drop wife off for elections/work. Someone figure it out
Dang, good work on finding that out Wounder. Could you imagine the first time we all met up and we get jumped and beat down by the opposing faction? I guess I need to start over.

I found the server list and started a human on 12 last night, but I''m waiting for the final selection (I noticed 4 was east coast) on servers.
And I don''t think we''re going to be affected by PVP all that much in the ST/OB yet as long as we''re all the same faction anyway. Besides the last ST servers were all PVP.

I don''t want to start a fight, but I''m on Test 3 as Wounder (level 5 dwarven rogue). I''m not saying that''s the official GWJ server or anything, just that''s where I am.
Ok, I made a character on East, server 3. In fairness I think we should all create chars on the central server set, so that those on the West coast don''t have to cross the coast. Nobody would have to cross the coast if we chose central, in theory.
