Fired up the single player to figure out my controls and settings. Cranked it all to Ultra. Runs like butter and looks AMAZING. Total rail shooter of course, but pretty enough to be worth the run I expect. Great sound design as usual too.
PS: That logo WipEout made is awesome.

I'm as giddy as a school girl. Just played two rounds of Caspian (Rush) and it was so f'n chaotic. I'm loving this!

I need to try Rush tomorrow. I think BC2 converted me. Never was a fan of vehicle-oriented maps anyway.

I didn't play the beta, but playing live tonight taught me that 2-3 bullets (could be one burst) kills you.

I've never been so aware of the sound in a game, in a good-fantastic way. Never been so happy for surround as when hearing footsteps to my back/right look out he's trying to STAB ME ahhhhh!

I'd say it's in between the beta and BC2. The semi-auto snipers have been especially toned down from the beta it seems. Will take some time to get used to, but I think it has potential.
Speaking of the game as a whole, man, what a blast. That last conquest round on Grand Bazaar was especially a treat. Mostly GWJers fighting it out in an urban environment with some nice variety.
Looking forward to getting back tomorrow evening!

Anyone know where the optional HD texture install on the 360 for the MP disk. I just did the normal game install but didn't see a seperate file. Is that install for the textures or is there something additional?
Did you find it? It prompted me in "My Soldier" I believe.

I'd call it a bit faster to kill than BFBC2, but somewhere in the range of BFBC2VN. But I guess somebody will pull the stats soon enough and we'll find out.
Nope. Bad hit notification and that damage multiplier while moving bug are gone.

I guess I need to tag this thread now. Anyway, I had a lot of fun this evening, and I've stayed up way too late.
Does anyone know why I unable to use PTT in Vent while I am in-game? It is really annoying. I don't think I have any game keys bound to the key I am using.

With goodjers on both sides, it's always a close game. Especially the long alley in the Bazaar. Many bullets were thrown across each end!

This game is fantastic looking and runs great. I did not notice any of the beta issues (so far). What voice comms are we going to be using? It would be nice to have separate squad chat channels. Is that something supported by the game?

Have to say to you budget card owners out there, this still looks fantastic on my Radeon 5650. I'm sure it gets much better, but all the game is there. If you held off because you don't have a 560 Ti, no worries, go for it.

Great games this evening guys. Also, the game runs fine, but I'm getting so really big frame drops after two or three games. I upgraded my video card for BF3, but it's looking like it's time for a new system. More RAM is a big bonus in this game it seems like.

Turning down my settings from ultra to high seemed to solve the crashing problem I was having; either that or enabling Vsync.
One problem is that it seems impossible to rebind the spot key; have no idea what is going on with that
