EDIT: On a more serious note, I''m only picking up HL2. Other income will be diverted to a DVD box set (Millennium Season 3) and a book (Going Postal by Terry Pratchett).

It''s pretty much different on every site. The lucas arts site says december for The X-Box version. They don''t specify wether that US only or all regions though.

I am making a bold decision and passing on HL2 at first. My wife keeps hinting that she wants to get me an awesome gift for Xmas so I think I''ll let her get that and the Firefly boxed set for me. If I find an Xbox and Halo 2 under the tree instead I won''t be dissipointed either. WoW will be a definate purchase for me and I''ll wait on Metroid Echoes until next year''s bleak times when no good games are coming out.

I agree that November is going to be a killer month for the wallet. I''m looking at EQ2, Dungeon Lords, and Pirates for the PC plus a couple of GBA games: LOTR: The Third Age and The Urbz. And I think that''s going to be my limit unless something else comes up that catches my eye.

Yeah. It''s a good thing I already paid for HL2, and I can probably hold off on Metroid and Zelda, at least for a few weeks. BUT, I will have already bought EQ2, and will be buying WoW (another $60 for my pre-ordered CE) the next week, so I reflect the sentiments that November will be an expensive-ass month.
