Just about to begin, but ye gods, who picked Steven Tyler to sing the Anthem? That was horrible! Even my dog was covering his ears.

That was a great game. Hopefully indicative of what is to come. It will be interesting tonight to see if the Cardinals try to bunt early on Schilling and make him run on his ankle.

All I can say is..

GO CARDS!

But I''m in St Louis. If it was anyone but the Cards, I would be rooting for Boston.

So it is 2-0 now, when do we start predicting Red Sox collapse?

After the Cards win the next three, oh yeah, it will happen.

If they can get one game in St. Louis, I think they will have it.

I think the sox will go down in game 7 to some weird error. The curse will live on!

Roger that. That''s the way the Sox have always ended. Some surreal collapse, aliens landing, or something.

Not seeing a hellva lot from the cards, however. Maybe they just don''t like Fenway.

I dunno. Cardinals picthing staff is just not there, while the Red Sox staff is pretty damn good. I still don''t under stand why no one didn''t bunt the ball and try to force Schilling off the mound and moving on his ankle.

But the Cards are strong at home. i think this is defnately going 7 games.

Cards have shown ZERO pitching the past two games, and although the Sox''s have had inconsistent starters, the bullpen has been phenomenal. They have one earned run, you heard me one earned run, in the past 6 games out of the pen. Now half of that has to do with all the errors the past two games but still it is an excellent stat.

If Pedro comes out and gives 7 lights out innings tommorrow you better start making your graves Cardinals.

Am I the only one who wants the Red Sox to win just they''ll shut up about not having won for so long?

The Red Sox CAN''T win. It''d be down right unamerican. I mean, that''d be like peace in the Middle East.

If it gets to the bottom of the ninth and the Sox are about to turn the third out and win the Series, I say ""Butt"" Selig should turn off the lights to the park and announce to everyone that, while he''d love for this World Series to be resolved, it simply would not be good for the game of baseball. Tune in next year when the World Series will determine home field advantage for the All-Star Game. That''d make everything fair ... right?

How does a team have 8 errors over 2 games and still win both of them.
In the world series no less.
The cards have to be kicking themselves.

You best start believing that the curse has been reversed after two Buckner-esque uber-blunders by the Cardinals. It''s destiny now. Repeat...

It does appear the Cards just rolled over and let the Sox take it to them. Oh well. Boring World Series now.

And what was up with the Leon interview just now? That was stupid. TV off.

haha.. I love Leon. But he''s funnier in the football commercials. The baseball one was kinda lame.

Leon arguing with Joe Buck over which side to stand on to show his good side and the one where he''s debating whether to quit football and start a broadcast career until Buck whispers his salary in his ear and he goes ""aww man, forget that then"" are classic. I remember there''s an even older one where Leon''s team lose and he''s being interviewed and Leon blames his entire team for the loss and the broadcaster says ""Leon.. there''s no ""I"" in team"" and Leon goes ""Ya, well there''s no ""we"" either"". Leon''s the man!

Despite popular belief, if there is a fool in the woods, and nobody is around to hear his jibba jabba, Mr. T is still able to pity him.

Yeah... I can''t claim to be the hugest Red Sox fan (I like the Red Sox for the series, but I would be lying if I said I watched more than 5 Sox games during the season) and I''m still like ""Man... this is where it''d happen...""

''Course, they had 4 errors in games 1 and 2, and still managed to win. So maybe it''s not that the curse is lifted, but instead, that they''ve learned to play with it.

I would be sad to see one of Basball''s great tragedies cast to the side. But if something -- anything-- goes wrong and the BoSox lose this game tonight .... I think it would be a HUGE blow. And people in Boston would be getting out their Kool-Aid and hemlock.

St. Louis should lose just for bringing in Scott Stapp of Creed to sing ""God Bless America."" That is a crime against humanity, my friends.

Manny Ramirez. How freakin'' hard is it to take your award and say ""I''m very honored to receive this award, but really I have been blessed by wonderful teammates and this really wouldn''t have been possible without them."" Instead of ""I didn''t doubt myself, I proved a lot of people wrong tonight.""

And I really love the raw emotion in Bud Selig''s voice. Jackass.
