What's the name of your band in Rock Band?
I got Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock for my birthday last year, and I've been having a blast with them when I've had a chance to play. My lead guitarist bears an uncanny resemblance to me-- just lucked out with the available presets I guess-- and I had to buy him the Mohawk Mall tee shirt, because I grew up going to the Mohawk Mall before it closed. (It had a really good arcade)
I wanted to name my band "Sgt. York and the Mightyfine Rifleguns," but there weren't enough characters in the field available. So I decided to go with "Elites Without Merit."
It features a guy who looks an awful lot like me in a Mohawk mall shirt and chuck tayler's on guitar (metal attitude) a tall, skinny black goth dude in a purple tuxedo on bass, and a pink haired punk chick in a flowered sundress and roller skates on drums. I left the lead singer slot open so I could play single player and pick any song I wanted without having to worry about having to swap out singers if I wanted to play "Still Alive" and "The Kids Aren't All Right" during the same play session.

My wife came up with the name when we were first trying to name our 'band' for Guitar Hero years ago. Our last name starts with a G, and, well...guitar strings. A nice little double entendre. We both still get a kick out of it whenever we dig out Rock Band and play.

If I remember correctly, Rock Band (maybe it was Rock Band 2) required you to create different bands for online play versus local world tour play. This led to the creation of "Local Campaign" as my band name so that I could tell which one was my file for local world tour play. This became "Local Campaign Evolution" in Rock Band 3.

My RB3 band is "The Sing-Along Blog", with Captain Hammer on Vocals, Dr. Horrible on Guitar, Penny on Drums, and a really pathetic attempt at Moist on Bass. One of these days I will probably get the horse mask and replace Moist with Bad Horse, but I am happy with the rest of the models.
In RB2 I made "Rock 4 Dead", with Bill, Zoey, Francis and Louis, who were a big hit at the CT S&T.

In RB3 we are Unemployed in Greenland. Band members include The Dead Pirate Roberts (zombie pirate), Inigo Montana (cowboy with two scars), Sluttercup (fishnets and red pumps), The Brute Squad (even got the striped pants, and chest tattoo: "I Am The Brute Squad"), and the Six-Stringed Man.

Although a few months back when I sold off the Wii stuff and switched to the PS3 version, it says our band name is already in use.
Never really play online anyway so I guess it doesn't matter much.
