The plane in these pictures is still officially the Air Vehicle Number 1, a prototype, onboard the USS George Washington CVN-73 for catapult fit checks. Not exactly still Top Secret but certainly not yet made public.
I believe it will be known as the F/A-37. Although specs are classified, it is believed to be a Mach 3.5 (top speed in the Mach 4 range), super-cruise stealth fighter/bomber/interceptor with approximately a 4,000nm range.

I vaguely recall seeing these either here or on a small mailing list I''m a member of.
IIRC, it was determined that this is the set of a movie, the lady in the cockpit is the actress star of said movie, and the camera crews you see are, well, the movie crew.
Forget the details, but I saw these about a month or so ago and that was the concensus. Hell, someone even recognized the actress. I''ll try digging through my archives and see what turns up.

Well, from the page on the male leads site I linked to, he says that a huge percentage of it was shot in front of a greenscreen, and a LOT of the flick is CGI. Could go either way, but I wouldn''t hold my breath.

Looks to me like they''re backwards from a normal swing wing - which would explain why when they''re swung forward, the flaps are on the leading edge. Which of course *doesn''t* explain how the hell the thing would fly (although there''s not a whole lot aerodynamic about the real F-117, either
).
Seems like a really goofy design, from my hazy recollections of aerodynamics.
