But I''ll still pick it up the day it comes out. This game looks insane, even single-player only...

There was supposed to be a MP??
why?
Aint nothing new about the world order..it's been playing since the day they put George Washington on a quarter

I was under the impression it was SP only from day one.

Since when did the title feature MP?
For instance, there are 108 beads in a Catholic rosary and there are 108 stitches in a baseball. When I learned that, I gave Jesus a chance. ~Ron Shelton, Bull Durham, 1988
eyeontroika.com (now gone) reported the MP was to be a vampires vs. vampire hunters deathmatch. Personally, i couldn''t care less for that.
Yeah, this isn''t really the kind of game I''d want MP for, better to spend the time on single player stuff. I mean really, with so many multiplayer games out there I don''t need all of them to have it like it''s the late 90''s.
Certis beat me to it. - Elysium
I must be the only one who''d prefer to have MP in his RPGs these days, especially since it''s a nice change of pace from the same old UT/BF-style that''s so prevalent now. It''s been done in both a Vampire RPG (the original) and a FPS RPG (System Shock 2). No, this really won''t affect my decision to buy one way or the other, but it''s a little disappointing nonetheless.

I think the MP could have been cool, but since I never knew it existed, I''m not too put out about losing it.
I like the idea of quickly advancing your charater in power over the course of a 20 minute game, making it as much an arms-race as a deathmatch.
"PEACE ON EARTH. GOOD WILL TO MEN. PUBLIC SHELTER. ADMISSION 50¢"
I never understand why game companies think they have to reinvent the wheel every time just to give us MP. I mean if nothing else go old school - just let us play DM in the game levels. I remember that being pretty fun in games like Duke Nukem 3D, Doom, Quake, ect.

I wasn''t really planning on playing MP on this anyway... unless we had done it as a group.

Yeah, I''m on the ""what''s the point of MP?"" on this title.
I''d think it''d be easier to just create a Vampires vs. Hunters mod for Unreal than to shoehorn a sloppy MP mode into what is supposed to be a strong RPG.
Co-op might be cool, but it''s like that old Reese''s Peanut Butter Cup commercial. You got Deathmatch in my RPG. No, you got RPG in my Deathmatch. I really don''t see how MP would fit.
So, in my opinion, ""Yay! They won''t be wasting time on something I don''t want! Wheee!""

They should really update their website with some of their more recent developments and such.

Maybe they think it''s more damaging to have lousy MP than none at all?
It is so rare to have a mighty SP/MP combo like CoD for example. For some games it just isn''t meant to be... I agree with the view that Mascarade one is one of those. MMORPG sure, but really no need for run of the mill MP.

Yeah, other than Coop or where the first game featured a Dungeon Master mode, I don''t really care. Adversarial MP isn''t something I was hoping for in this game.
Semi-related, when you preorder at Best Buy, you get a Tshirt, does anybody know what that Tshirt looks like?

I have the t-shirt and would never wear that thing in public. I plan on using it for a car washing rag. It''s in the trunk of my car, I''ll go get it a post a ""review""...
