Dungeon Defenders

Official website with gameplay video
Steam page
Impulse page
(XBL, PSN, PC)
I think this looks really awesome and well worth the $11 ($9.90 for pre-orders). Basically it is a co-op tower defense / action RPG hybrid but I refer you to the pages I linked above for a detailed description. I hope the developers keep it patched and provide new content regularly.
I can't seem to find a specific release date. Steam says November 2010, Impulse says 12/31/2010, GamersGate says 11/25/2010 and there doesn't seem to be an official date on their website.
Delayed to January 2011.
July? Maybe August?

Wow that does look really cool...

You aren't kidding, that looks cool, though a bit busy. I like how they used WoW-like graphics, but made the art look mostly different.
Props for another indie title giving a preorder discount.
And I like to hear this too:

Hey, the wizard looks like Andy.
Garion's quote sold me. I'm in.
EDIT: Can't pre-order on Steam yet. Boo-urns.
NOTE: Not a doodle bug.
Steam-XBox-PSN: Lobstermancer
It's a cute version of Monday Night Combat, apparently with persistent leveling?
Totally in.

Cell-shaded co-op Torchlight meets Tower Defense? Deal.

Looks very Torchlightesque. Is it just me or is the font the exact same font from Torchlight? Maybe it's just a placeholder.

Yeah this looks really cool, I'm sold. I wonder if it has local multi?

2011 is the year for aRPGs, it seems. Looks cool.

Exploding Barrel: A Video Game Blog
The web-site says drop-in/drop-out online and local multi, mix-and-match. Might supplant Castle Crashers as our favorite drunken couch co-op game.

For the price it's nearly impossible to go wrong with this. The art is real perty and tower defense is a pretty tough genre to screw up. Some of the pics seem really busy, but hopefully you get used to it with actual gameplay. And maybe there is a top-down view which would also help. Plus Steam achievements makes it a done deal for me

I saw the trailer for this a while ago and thought it looked really good. I didn't realize it was coming to PC. Count me in.

I've had my eye on this for a while! There was a Unreal mod thingy out a while ago made by the same people that was basically a proof of concept for this, it was pretty fun, but I can't remember what it was called or where I saw it... so nevermind I guess.
Looking forward to this anyway!

Saw this come up in steam a while back. Looked interesting so I put it on my wishlist.

I just read that there's local co-op on PC!
Awesome!
And they posted guides for the apprentice and the huntress.

That looks pretty neat. Reminds me a bit of Fat Princess, but much busier.

Yeah? I'd gathered that Fat Princess was more a Tower Defense/FPS hybrid instead of TD/Action...maybe I should check it out.
Ah wait, no PS3. Dern.

I really wish Steam would start taking pre-orders, or at least let us know what their pre-order bonus will be. Each listed retailer has its own exclusive pet:
Impulse has Archimedes, who I'm guessing is a bird of some sort. Maybe an owl, if they want to be cute. He heals you, attacks enemies, and boosts your stats.
Direct2Drive has Mephisto, a demon who heals your towers, attacks enemies, and boosts your offensive stats.
GamersGate has Argo, a goddamn dragon. He drains enemy health while restoring yours and boosts your stats.
NOTE: Not a doodle bug.
Steam-XBox-PSN: Lobstermancer
I had to click through to that deal just to see if they actually said, "a goddamn dragon"

They should, however they do not despite that CLEARLY being a goddamn dragon.

Steam-XBox-PSN: Lobstermancer
This looks so totally awesome!
Being fangoriously devoured by a gelatinous monster.
Put me down as interested and waiting...

While the Android / iOS versions seem to be at 5.0 / 4.3 respectively, the release on consoles and PCs is scheduled to be around late March / early April. Apparently, the certification process for XBox360 and PS3 is taking a while and the PC version will drop a week after the console versions.
According to the forums, Steam will allow pre-orders starting 2 weeks before release.

Starting to wonder why everyone else has been taking pre-orders for months now.

I was excited for Dungeon Defenders, but something about the iOS version cooled me on it immediately. If it had a wrapper on it, it would've been one of those moments of immediate buyers remorse when I regretted taking the wrapper off. I'm not quite sure what it was. Might've been something as simple as the fact that it didnt feel pickup and play like other iOS games I had purchased around that time.
I'll have to give it another chance one of these days.
I thought this was kind of cool: http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/02/ps3-pc-ios-android-cross-platform-mult...
Cross platform play between PC, PS3, iOS and Android, and the 360 port gets to play only with other XBL players.
